Sumer Trade Seminar Info

April 10, 2015

One of the most important voices in support of coal’s role in electrifying the world, Alex Epstein, director of the Center for Industrial Progress, a for-profit think tank he founded in 2011, is the headliner at The Coal Institute Summer Trade Seminar. This year’s event, and industry must-attend, is scheduled for July 12 – 14, 2015 at the Embassy Suites – Kingston Planation Myrtle Beach, SC   (843) 449-0006.

Mark your calendars now and make your reservations, this is one meeting you do not want to miss this year. As the 2015 STS educational presenter, Alex will share with attendees his mission to “inspire Americans to embrace industrial progress as a cultural ideal.” Alex is also the author of a popular pro-energy book titled “The Moral Case for Fossil Fuels.” The book is being distributed to schools and libraries throughout the US and is a critical counter argument to those who would diminish coal’s role in lifting people from global poverty.

The Coal Institute Summer Trade Seminar of 2015 promises a full agenda of respected presenters, activities to spend time with your comrades, opportunities to make new acquaintances, a chance to learn more about our industry’s  challenges and how our industry leaders are reacting.

You soon will be receiving registration information for this meeting; however, The Embassy Suites – Kingston Planation is now taking   reservations at (843) 449-0006 or directly on line:

The Coal Institute is well aware of our industry’s current issues and we understand the consequences it faces. However, we encourage our members to continue to support the institution that puts all of its accolades and resources back into the coal mining communities.
